Guys with the recent break ins at the off road track, council have changed the gate locks and so we only currently have one key. Racing will be on as per usual however those with keys can’t access via their keys. More details to come.
Yes with the new year comes a new track. Racing starts back today so come down and set some track records. Who will take top honours for each class.

Don’t forget new year means memberships are due again.
As it has always been we will be running the usual FORD V HOLDEN 21.5 night. We would like to see some different bodies with a recommended PRE 1990 otherwise a V8 Supercar body paint scheme. Those that have attended before will know that this is a fun night with close racing.
We will have the usual TC2 and TC1 classes running and if numbers permit F1 as well. These will run our usual 2 qualifiers and 2 finals.
The 21.5 Ford V Holden will consist of the following –
We will be racing 1 Qualifier and 3 finals with a top 10 shootout which is the highlight of the night.
Qualifier will be fastest lap to determine the grid based on a 6 minute qualifying time frame open to all drivers.
Finals will be different to our usual format of 6 minute races instead it will be 20 Laps races. First and last final will be based on the qualifying with the second final reverse grid. All finals will count for points.
So get your bodies ordered and painted and lets have a blast.
Yes well the day started and there was magical weather for the whole day. A little warmer than expected.
A small but excited gathering of both young and old racers are contending in 4 classes today and tomorrow.
Possible contenders for concourse are these 4
With 5 qualifiers completed we see one more to run tomorrow before we get down to business. TC2 seems to be the closest at the moment but things are bound to change tomorrow.
Well today we see the computer timing setup for those that are down for practice. Weather looks to be perfect again and so we should see some beneficial track conditions that should remain the same over the weekend. If you haven’t decided to come and watch then Saturday we will see qualifiers all day and Sunday we will see more qualifiers and the finals.
The lovely Thurne, one of our master chefs, will be down over the weekend to feed all the drivers so bring your money (small notes and change is requested). Sausages and hamburgers with cold drinks will be available throughout the day.
We look forward to seeing you all down there.
Today we see the track open from 10AM for untimed practice. Those that are keen will be down there and making the last adjustments that will hopefully prove to give them the edge.
Weather is perfect trackside so will give a good testing environment.
Tomorrow will see the timing setup for those that are looking to head down.
