On Sunday May 2nd, LCRCCC will be running the “Electric Grand Prix” at the Gold Coast Gilston track.
Due to the ongoing noise issues Gas Cars are not allowed to be raced at the venue so this will be an Electric only event.
Classes run will be 540, Stock & Mod & will also see the running of Round 2 of this years F1 series.
Format; all classes will run 3 x staggered start qualifiers with a re-grade after heat 2 & then 3 x A finals with a single B & C final as required.
Cars will be weighed (1425gms Tourers & 1000gms F1’s) & scrutineered as required.
Trophies will be presented to the top 3 places in each class with an additional “Top Junior” in 540 & a team trophy for the F1 class.
Entry fees; Senior $15.00 for first & $5.00 for additional classes with Juniors $10.00 & $5.00 for additional classes. Drivers may enter as many classes as they wish.
Entries will be taken via RC Tech posting, email, or to manichols@optusnet.com.au or “on the day” up to 8.00am.
Gates will be open from 7.00am, power is available but you will need to bring extension leads. You will also need to supply your own Tables & Shade as required.
Practice will available from 07.30am & Racing will start at 09.30am.
Catering for Breakfast & Lunch will be supplied by LCRCCC’s own “Kimberley’s Kitchen” with the usual high standard of barbecued goodies & drinks.

Saturday, 27.03.10 we will be running Round 1 of the 2010 F1 Championship series at Logan.
We will start qualifying at 2.00pm, 3 x rounds, & then as previously we will run the 3 x A finals during the evenings club racing.
We will be using the FORCDA rules, link to this document can be found on the right hand side, so please make sure that your cars comply.
Entry can be made on the day or just put a post up here OR on RC Tech & I’ll keep the list updated.
We are hoping to have at least 6 rounds this year at various venues. Series points will be the same as the new points system being used in 1:1 F1 this year. ie. 1st 25, 2nd 18, 3rd 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, & 10th 1 point.
