Well what a night. With a change of catering for the night, still great food, and the winter weather starting to roll in, everyone was having fun.

We had 2 heats of Stock and 540 with a heat of Mod and F1.

540 saw Brad Hall take TQ with Steven Keulemans and Dave Guyatt not far behind. The final was a battle and a half with many of the racers coming into contact with each other throughout the race but it was Brad who hung on to take the race with Dave coming in second after making a costly mistake towards the end to show us the underside of his new MI4LP(I think) and Steven taking 3rd

Stock saw young Chris Sturdy take TQ from Bob and Martin. The final saw Chris take the win from Paul in second and Bob coming home 3rd.

Mod was the class to watch once again with Simon taking TQ but hot on his heals and sometimes in front of him was Clinton. The final was a blast to watch as Simon show his skill to run in a consistancy of 0.12 for the race with lap times between 19,410 and 19.816 with Clinton coming home in 2nd and 3rd went to Leonard.

F1 was a little light on but the 3 drivers were not holding back. The Rat aka Shane Hyde show dominance all night to take wins in all the racers and TQ. He later went on to thank all those other F1 drivers for not racing allowing him to take the win. Congrates Shane.

Overall another great night with everyone having a wonderful night. See you all next time.

So pass the word around & I’ll see you at the track on Sunday morning.

Yes well talk of people running 540 this week turned out to be true.

I for one enjoyed the racing that I got to have as well as many others. Louis, B1 and B2, Heavy and a few others all where fighting for the top spots. With a lot moving down to 540 this left Stock a little low in numbers but still some of the best racing was seen in this class with young gun Jordan taking TQ. MOD saw a nice field including Simon Nicholson who wasn’t pushed much all night.

The MOD final saw Clinton doing some quick laps to be only tens of a second slower but Simon showed consistancy is what is needed to win and that he did.

Results are uploaded onto the results page.

Yes well only a few tonight ventured out to race. We had 4 F1 cars, 3 540 and 1 stock and 4 MOD cars.

Great to see Simon Nicholson out and about showing the locals how to go fast.

Results can be found on the results page.

Well the first round of the F1 season has be a great success being run before and along-side the normal Saturday night racing.
