It’s shaping up to be another great event with about 8 teams ready to line up.

Yes racing Saturday the 12th was great. 2 heats of both 17.5 and 21.5, a gas and a mod heat also.

TQs went to –

21.5 – Nat Riddle
17.5 – Keith Mackrill
Mod – Clinton Livingston
Gas – Stuart Pearson

Once again most divers pull out all the stops in the finals to post personal bests for the night. It was a girl ONE and TWO in the B final of 17.5 as they showed the guys how to drive faultless. Great going Kahla and Jacinta.

Results have been uploaded to the results page for those wanting to look at their lap times and consistency.

Well what a great start to the season. A total of 43 Entries for the night with a great spread through F1,21.5 Fixed, 17.5 Fixed, Mod and a couple of Gas cars present.

F1 saw Nat un-rattled throughout the night to take TQ and go on with the Win. Great start to the 2011 F1 season also.

21.5 saw 16 drivers fight it out. TQ went to Steven K ahead of his daughter. The final saw a few crashes which helped some and not others. Steven remained unscathed to take the Win from his daughter and Peter B. Looking at the results of the A main final saw everyone put in a Personal Best. Great work guys.

Mod saw a field of 5 drivers battle it out. TQ went to Clinton and he never looked pushed too much as he went onto win the final.

17.5 there was a strong field of 14 drivers battling it out. TQ went to Keith M who also went on to take the win in the final.

Gas was a small field of 4 drivers but the action was still there. TQ went to Karl Y who also went on to win the final.

Results are up on the Results page.

Until next time get those cars clean and free running.

Yes well if you weren’t there racing then you missed a great night.

2 heats of 21.5, 1 Heat of stock (fixed time), 1 F1 heat, 1 Gas heat and 1 heat of MOD for the night.

Lots of action as we saw some great racing. Guest racer from Tasmania (that little place at the bum, I mean bottom, of Australia) gave some great commentation during all MOD racers and through the finals of the 21.5 races. It really gives the racing experience just that little most. Many thanks Scott. MOD saw some great battles of the young guns about at the moment with Corey and Chris changing positions regularly but there can only be one winner and Corey was just that. He had a great night and it paid off. My night was great also with some great close racing between Dave and Kahla in the finals. I was triumphant in the second final and with a 2nd place beat Dave for the win overall. Stock racing was all Nat Riddle as he won TQ and then went onto win both Finals.

Well done all racers and glad to be back trackside. Results have been uploaded onto the results page for those interested in times.

Until next time.

With all the local guns lining up in MOD last night it was only a matter to time before we saw weather they were up to the challenge set by Simon.

If you weren’t there you missed all the action. Gas Tourer racer Jason Dorm swapped his car for an electric with what I heard was a low 4 turn motor. He gave it all he had but ………

Well what a night. With a change of catering for the night, still great food, and the winter weather starting to roll in, everyone was having fun.

We had 2 heats of Stock and 540 with a heat of Mod and F1.

540 saw Brad Hall take TQ with Steven Keulemans and Dave Guyatt not far behind. The final was a battle and a half with many of the racers coming into contact with each other throughout the race but it was Brad who hung on to take the race with Dave coming in second after making a costly mistake towards the end to show us the underside of his new MI4LP(I think) and Steven taking 3rd

Stock saw young Chris Sturdy take TQ from Bob and Martin. The final saw Chris take the win from Paul in second and Bob coming home 3rd.

Mod was the class to watch once again with Simon taking TQ but hot on his heals and sometimes in front of him was Clinton. The final was a blast to watch as Simon show his skill to run in a consistancy of 0.12 for the race with lap times between 19,410 and 19.816 with Clinton coming home in 2nd and 3rd went to Leonard.

F1 was a little light on but the 3 drivers were not holding back. The Rat aka Shane Hyde show dominance all night to take wins in all the racers and TQ. He later went on to thank all those other F1 drivers for not racing allowing him to take the win. Congrates Shane.

Overall another great night with everyone having a wonderful night. See you all next time.

P.S – Results have been uploaded

Yes well talk of people running 540 this week turned out to be true.

I for one enjoyed the racing that I got to have as well as many others. Louis, B1 and B2, Heavy and a few others all where fighting for the top spots. With a lot moving down to 540 this left Stock a little low in numbers but still some of the best racing was seen in this class with young gun Jordan taking TQ. MOD saw a nice field including Simon Nicholson who wasn’t pushed much all night.

The MOD final saw Clinton doing some quick laps to be only tens of a second slower but Simon showed consistancy is what is needed to win and that he did.

Results are uploaded onto the results page.

Well the first round of the F1 season has be a great success being run before and along-side the normal Saturday night racing.

Yes that’s right more racing this Saturday, 20.03.10

If the weather will be kind to us we’ll be running a club race night this Saturday to try & make up for missing recent rounds.

The Off-Road guys are busy completing their track rebuild & will have a lot of machinery moving about so make sure you leave room please & don’t get in their way.

We won’t be starting practice till approx 4.30pm & racing will be from 6.00pm as usual.

Hope to see you all there.
